Bank Holiday Cocktail!
It’s the Scottish summer bank holiday today and we’re celebrating with a delicious cocktail, the Laggan Sunset!
Available today at Gather, the cocktail is a fruity number featuring malibu and pineapple juice and is simply delicious. If you can’t taste Laggan Behind in Gather this bank holiday, we’re sharing our cocktail recipe below so you can make it in your own time!
Laggan Sunset Cocktail:
150 Pineapple Juice
Bartender’s spoon or teaspoon
- Taking a whisky glass, pour in the Malibu and pineapple juice and fill the glass with plenty of ice
- Mix together the liquids with a bartender’s spoon or a teaspoon
- Pick the glass up and tilt slightly. At this point slowly add the Grenadine down the side of the glass. Tip – make sure you add the grenadine down the edge of the glass and this will help give the layered effect. If you add by pouring straight into the glass, the layer effect will be harder to accomplish!
- Garnish with a fresh round of lemon place on a cocktail stick with a cherry in between the lemon round – have a look at the image for guidance!
The Laggan Sunset is the ideal aperitif before your meal at Gather or even as a little sweet treat post food.
