Indonesian Flavour at Gather

We’re thrilled to be partnering with ‘BBC MasterChef’ contestant Endang Telfer for a night of Indonesian flavour at Gather. Join us on Wednesday 25th September for a kitchen takeover with Endang where you’ll indulge in beautiful Indonesian dishes.

About Endang

Originally from Balikpapan in East Borneo, Endang moved to Scotland in 2000. Based in Castle Douglas, Endang owns the gift shop ‘Enigma’ but has always been a passionate home cook. Wanting to cook Indonesian food for John and Gregg, Endang applied for BBC MasterChef and managed to get through to the semi finals in 2023!

The Night

The night will start at 6.00pm where diners will enjoy an Indonesian spiced drink ‘jamu’. The meal will then start at 6.30pm. Endang will say a few words at the start and end of the evening.
