The future of work is employee well-being.

We are thrilled to have Kat Thorne ‘The Morning Gamechanger’ at GG’s Yard, Laggan to give a two hour session on how to form positive habits that will change performance in all areas of life. This event will bring together team members from local businesses to explore practical strategies for creating healthier, happier and more productive workplaces.

Motivational Morning Gamechanger  – Tuesday 21st January 2025 9.30am – 11.30am

As an employer, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to not only keep good employees but to keep those good people motivated. Investing in workplace wellbeing isn’t just good for employees – it’s also good for business. A positive, healthy work environment boosts morale, reduces absenteeism and improves productivity, helping your team and business thrive. Small steps today can make a big difference for tomorrow.

Considering it is blue January and the UK being ranked the 2nd lowest in mental health worldwide we have decided to offer employers the opportunity to kick start the year.

Tea and coffee will be served.

A Little About Kat Thorne

Kat Thorne is a positive habits international keynote speaker, teacher and consultant. Her life story of workaholism, breakdown and burnout inspires global audiences to make one small habit change. After losing everything in 2016, she had no choice but to start again.

With ONE SMALL HABIT CHANGE.

Former Global Commercial Director & CEO, Kat now works with organisations, leaders and individuals around the world to create one small positive habit change that actually results in increased wellbeing & resilience.

The result? A healthier, happier and high performing work and home life.

ONE SMALL HABIT CHANGES YOUR DAY

Life is a rollercoaster. There are so many challenges facing us every day from work related stress, family responsibilities to health issues.

Burnout, anxiety and overwhelm are happening at an alarming rate. Most people wake up and go straight into auto pilot mode which means they are not mentally or physically prepared for the day ahead. The impact of this over time can be devastating. Therefore, it is important to be able to recognise and practise the daily habits that positively impact our lives resulting in better health, performance, and greater happiness. Making small, daily changes to how you start your day can positively impact all areas of your life. And it starts with just one, small habit.

The Morning Gamechanger Talk

This interactive talk is an opportunity to really focus on yourself and explore how your habits impact your energy and performance both at work and home. It will raise your awareness and give you the tools to make one small change that will positively impact your life.
During the day you will:

  • Identify the impact that your habits have on you
  • Gain practical tips to develop a more positive & resilient mindset
  • Establish how you can make one small change to have more energy for the day ahead

Why make these changes?

We are facing the greatest global pandemic of all time.

Burnout, anxiety, and stress are at an all-time high. People are the most important asset. The better people look after themselves, the better they perform in all areas of life. In the recently published Mental State of the World 2023 Report, the UK scored second worst out of 71 countries.
