Gather Closure FAQ’s

 

From Monday 27th January 2025, Gather will no longer be open to the public. This means that unless you are part of a wedding booking, have tickets for a ticketed event or wish to hire Gather for a private event, you won’t be able to drink or dine with us.

Frequently asked questions

Breakfast at Gather for wedding & event guests

Wedding and event parties and their guests will be able to have
breakfast at Gather the morning of a wedding/event and the
morning following a wedding/event. Bookings for this will be made
via your wedding and events coordinator.

Evening dining at Gather for wedding & event parties.

Gather will be available on an exclusive use basis the night before
weddings and subject to a minimum of 20 and maximum of 60
guests. This will be a set and pre-arranged menu, which will require
guests to pre-order. Your wedding & event coordinator will arrange
this for you.


Smaller parties (under 20) can be hosted with us at our sister hotel, The Murray Arms in Gatehouse of Fleet. We have a private shuttle bus that will be used to transport your guests from the Snugs to The Murray Arms Hotel and back. This, along with your event dining must be pre-booked. Your wedding & event coordinator will arrange this for you.

Breakfast for Snug/ accommodation guests not staying as part of a wedding or event party

Breakfast baskets will be available to order up to 48 hours before
your stay. These will be delivered to your snug/accommodation at
08:30 on the booked day.

These can be booked by calling our accommodation team on 01557 840 206 or by ordering on-line via a link which will be emailed to you.

Dining for Snug/accommodation guests not staying as part of a wedding or event party

Dining will be available at our sister hotel The Murray Arms in Gatehouse of Fleet Wednesday to Sunday inclusive.

Local Taxis run a preferential service for our guests. You can view a list of their contact details using the button below.

Gift vouchers

Pre-purchased Laggan gift vouchers can be used to dine at Gather prior to and including 26th January 2025.

Beyond this, vouchers can be used towards ticketed events at Gather or used towards dining or staying at The Murray Arms Hotel. The value of vouchers for Gather can also be used towards stays on site in our stunning Sea View Snugs.

Ticketed events

Occasionally, we will run ticketed events such as music evenings and speciality dining events which will be open to anyone who pre-purchases a ticket. These will be advertised in advance, firstly to newsletter subscribers and then on our website and social media channels.

Private hire at Gather

Gather will be available for private event hire for birthdays, baby showers, special occasions or meetings. Dates for private hire events will be made available 6 months in advance and will be subject to existing bookings.
