Sustainable Laggan

Here at Laggan, across the whole business, we try our best to be as sustainable as possible. Below are some examples of what we do to try and help our planet!

• Glass water bottles are used in the restaurant and accommodation
• Rather than cartons or plastic bottles of milk, we have made the swap to glass bottles in all of the accommodation across the business
• The straws we use in cocktails at Gather are 100% recyclable
• All food waste goes into our food composter
• We encourage the team to car share as much as possible
• We have branded takeaway coffee mugs to encourage customers to use reusable containers
• The toiletries used in each bathroom and toilet across the business uses refillable glass bottles
• For those that don’t want to buy a Laggan coffee mug, our general takeaway coffee mugs are 100% recyclable
• The blankets at Gather used at the outdoor seating area are made from recycled plastic
• Where possible, we use locally sourced suppliers to reduce milage
• We give back to the land and to nature by planting lots of vegetation and flowers
• The garnishes used in dishes and cocktails at Gather are grown at the outdoor seating area
• We planted an orchard so GG’s Yard and Gather can make use of the crops
