GG’s Yard is named after our Granny and Great Granny to twelve! Known as GG amongst the family, Margaret was a phenomenal asset to the family and thanks to her work ethic and high standard, Laggan became the place that it is today.
GG’s Yard is an exclusive use venue and our easy approach allows you to have the wedding day you want. Our team of professionals always go the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Food and Drink
Aside from the vows, wedding food is such an important part of your day which is why we don’t restrict your options.
Introducing our Head Chef Jamie Muirhead. Born and bred in Dumfries and Galloway, Jamie has been a chef for over 30 years and brings with him a wealth of experience and passion.
Jamie will sit down with you and develop new angles or twists to dishes that will really impress you and your guests on your big day. Being creative yet realistic is key to a wedding menu and Jamie’s menus will ensure your guests have that ‘wow’ moment and an amazing meal.
From canapés and main wedding breakfast, through to evening food options, our meals use only the finest, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
Enjoy The Good Times
Your friends and family have travelled to see you so make the most of it. Reconnect with them the night before around the chimenea with a glass of fizz in hand and share your wedding stories over breakfast the morning after your wedding day.
We are meant to be around others, it’s good for us. Gather and our glass dome Graze offers a space for you to do just this but with those that mean the most to you.
